Performance advantages and applications
|
Antioxidant HG-168 is an antioxidant synthesized by catalysis of 2.4-di-tert-butylphenol and phosphorus trichloride as raw materials, which is generally not used alone. Antioxidant HG-168 usually combined with antioxidant HG-1010, HG-1076 and other phenolic main antioxidant used in PE, PP, PS, ABS resin, polyurethane, polycarbonate, polyamide and various rubber and other polymer materials, which can improve the thermal stability of polymer processing. As an auxiliary antioxidant, it mainly has the following effects: (1) It can react with peroxide to produce oxidized stable phosphate ester, which not only prevents the chain proliferation of oxidation reaction, but also improves the stability of polymer to light; (2) It can react with the residual metal catalyst components in the polymer to make the metal ions inactive; (3) It is also a quinone fading agent, due to the addition of phenolic antioxidants and oxygen peroxide reaction to produce yellow quinone compounds or methylquinone compounds and make the polymer yellow, after adding the agent, it can react with this kind of coloring material to produce colorless aryl phosphate ester. Reference dosage: General dosage is 0.1 to 0.5%.
